Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team at our Doha office. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly motivated and passionate about providing comprehensive mental health care to patients in need. The psychiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating and preventing mental health illnesses within the outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist will provide quality psychiatric evaluation services including a complete history, physical examination, mental status assessment, laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures. They will also identify appropriate treatment options such as psychotherapy, medications and hospitalization as necessary. With their expertise in psychopharmacology, they will assist in selecting appropriate medications for patient care needs. They will also provide consultation to other professionals regarding patient care needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure that the highest standards of patient care are met.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a Medical degree in Psychiatry or equivalent qualification with at least 5 years of experience in psychiatry practice. Expertise in Psychopharmacology is essential along with excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of other professionals. Candidates should have an understanding of current best practices in psychiatry as well as a commitment to continuing education and professional development. Having a valid license from Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners or willing to obtain one is also required.
