Position: Accountant

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: 1400 QAR per month

Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide accurate financial reports to the management team in a timely manner.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial entries into the system.
• Participate in the development of budgeting plans for the company’s operations.
• Monitor and review budget performance against actual results to identify areas of improvement or cost reduction opportunities.
• Prepare reconciliations between bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred but not required; or equivalent experience in a similar role is acceptable. • Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Accountant; exposure to bookkeeping principles is required. • Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel) is highly desirable; knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is preferred but not necessary. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to multitask efficiently in order to meet deadlines on time and accurately is essential.
