Job Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent certification required
• Certification in welding from a recognized program or institution
• At least two years of experience in welding operations
• Proven ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations as necessary

Job Duties
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine the specifications of the project • Set up manual or semi-automatic welding equipment according to specifications • Verify alignment of components prior to welding process • Adjust settings on welders as necessary to achieve desired results • Operate manual grinding machines to grind welds after completing them • Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality assurance • Follow safety regulations when setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment
