Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for consulting with patients about their medications and providing advice on the correct use of prescribed drugs. The Pharmacist will also be expected to advise patients on their overall health and wellbeing, including lifestyle changes and nutrition. In addition, they will be responsible for managing inventory of medications and supplies in order to maintain an adequate stock level at all times. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology.

Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: consulting with patients regarding their medication needs; dispensing medications according to prescriptions; maintaining accurate records of all dispensing activities; ensuring that prescriptions are filled accurately; checking drug interactions; advising patients on proper dosage instructions; answering any questions patients may have about their medications; stocking shelves with supplies; ordering new medications when necessary; maintaining a clean work area; adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to the practice of pharmacy; performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from a recognized university or college or equivalent experience as a Pharmacist in Qatar or abroad. Candidates must also have at least 3 years' experience working in a pharmacy setting along with excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred). Additionally, candidates should possess sound knowledge of pharmacology, pharmaceuticals, medical terminology, drug names/classifications/interactions/dosages/therapeutic effects/side effects & contraindications. An accepted Qatar Pharmacist license is required for this position as well as valid CPR certification. Salary is QAR 1000 per month plus benefits commensurate with experience.
