Job Responsibilities

• Operate excavators to perform earthmoving functions on construction sites
• Follow directions from job site supervisors or engineers
• Move levers, pedals, and other controls to operate the excavator’s various functions
• Ensure excavators are maintained regularly by conducting pre-operation inspections each day

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Excavator Operator
• Excellent knowledge of operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
• Ability to interpret traffic signals and directions from supervisors
• Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions
