Welder - Sharjah, UAE

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The Welder will be responsible for assembling, fabricating and welding metal components. This is a great opportunity for a talented individual to join our team and further their career.

Requirements for the Candidate:
• Proven experience as Welder or similar role
• Thorough knowledge of welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG) and safety precautions
• Ability to read technical drawings and sketches
• Solid understanding of basic materials properties (e.g., metal alloys)
• Advanced manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Excellent physical condition
• Good communication skills in English
• A valid UAE work visa (for foreign applicants).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g., cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
• Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces together prior to welding • Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead) • Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps • Test assembled structures/components to locate defects and rework/repair as needed • Monitor the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping
