We are currently looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Sharjah. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100. The ideal candidate should be an immigrant who meets the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in the construction industry;
• Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, practices, and standards;
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings;
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Analyzing survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical data to plan projects;
• Developing detailed designs for public works projects such as roads, bridges, sewers, buildings etc.;
• Estimating costs and preparing budget documents;
• Investigating construction sites and ensuring they meet legal guidelines and health & safety requirements;
• Supervising onsite personnel during the construction phase;
• Ensuring completed projects meet design specifications.

In addition to the above qualifications, the right candidate should also have strong communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. An understanding of international design standards is also desirable.
