Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients’ teeth and jaws, diagnosing any irregularities or misalignments, and designing and implementing treatment plans to address these issues. The Orthodontist will ensure that all treatments meet the highest industry standards by using the most advanced technologies. The Orthodontist will also provide advice on dental hygiene practices to patients and their families in order to prevent future problems. Additionally, the Orthodontist will assess the need for corrective measures such as braces or retainers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
-A Bachelor’s degree in dentistry or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university
-5+ years’ experience as an orthodontist -Excellent communication skills with both patients and colleagues -Knowledge of current medical regulations/standards surrounding orthodontics -Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously -Ability to work independently as well as part of a team -Familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Office
