Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating unique, delicious pastries that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. You will also need to take charge of all kitchen duties related to pastry production; such as baking cakes, breads, pies, cookies etc., design platters for special events, monitor stock levels and order supplies as needed. Additionally, you must ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed at all times.

Requirements
Proven experience as Pastry Chef or similar role; knowledge of baking techniques and methods including dough preparation; Demonstrable experience with cake decoration; Familiarity with sanitation regulations; Ability to work long hours standing up; Excellent organizational skills; Attention to detail; Creativity and passion for making pastries; High school diploma or equivalent degree is preferred but not mandatory.
