Job Title: Librarian
Location: Abu-Dhabi
Salary: 900 AED

Job Responsibilities:
• Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials.
• Assist patrons with locating materials and using library resources.
• Conduct research on library topics as required.
• Help organize and maintain the library's cataloging system.
• Maintain records of loans and returns of library materials.
• Develop programming to promote the use of the library's resources among the public.
• Assist in developing policies for the effective use of library resources.
• Participate in staff training activities to keep up with technology advances in libraries.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required (we are willing to consider candidates with no experience).
• Knowledge of cataloging systems such as Dewey Decimal System or Library of Congress Classification System is a plus. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic are required for this position.
