Psychiatrist Vacancy in Doha - 1600

We are looking for an experienced Psychiatrist to join our team in Doha. This position offers a competitive salary of 1600. We are open to considering a foreign candidate for this role.

Job Description:
As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing mental health care services to our patients. You will evaluate and diagnose mental illnesses, develop treatment plans, and provide counseling services to individuals and families. You will also monitor patient progress and assist with research initiatives as needed.

Duties:
• Evaluate and diagnose mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, bipolar disorder, etc.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that include psychotherapy and/or medication management
• Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, or groups
• Monitor patient progress throughout the course of treatment
• Provide crisis intervention when needed
• Assist with research initiatives as needed
• Collaborate with other medical professionals to coordinate care for patients
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Psychiatry or related field required; Doctoral Degree preferred
• Licensure or certification in the state of Qatar is required; must have valid medical license
• At least two years of work experience in psychiatry is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English and Arabic are required; knowledge of any other language is a plus point
