Optometrist Vacancy – Al-Kuwait

We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients, including visual acuity tests, contact lens fittings and optical coherence tomography (OCT) imaging scans. We offer a competitive salary of 1300. We are also open to considering applications from foreign candidates.

Job Description:
• Provide comprehensive eye care services including visual acuity tests, contact lens fittings and OCT imaging scans
• Evaluate and diagnose ocular abnormalities
• Recommend treatment plans for common vision conditions such as dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration
• Provide patient education on corrective lenses and eye protection
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Demand for the Candidate:
• Must hold a valid optometry license for the state of Al-Kuwait
• A degree in Optometry from an accredited institution is required
• Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments such as auto-refractors, keratometers and retinal cameras is an asset
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with patients and coworkers
