Job Summary

We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the dentist during dental procedures, preparing materials and equipment for treatment, performing administrative duties and ensuring patient safety. This is a full-time opportunity with a salary of 1100 per month. We are open to considering applicants who are immigrants to the UAE as well.

Job Responsibilities
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing him/her instruments, mixing materials and suctioning saliva
• Prepare materials such as amalgam, composite filling material, impression material etc., as needed by the dentist
• Sterilize instruments and equipment before use
• Maintain patient records in compliance with health regulations
• Ensure patient safety by following protocols set out by the clinic
• Take impressions or x-rays when requested by the dentist
• Provide advice to patients on how to maintain oral hygiene
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments or filing paperwork

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required • Knowledge of dental terminology is essential • Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining accuracy • Excellent communication skills
