Carpenter – Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and the ability to work independently. We offer a competitive salary of 1600. Foreigners are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, wallboard, and other materials; measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a ruler; shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools such as saws and chisels; assemble cut and shaped parts into structures; finish surfaces of assembled structures by sanding, filling joints with putty or other substances; fasten parts together with nails, screws, pegs or glue.

• Study specifications in blueprints or drawings to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required; select wood based on knowledge of characteristics related to strength, cost, appearance and available supply; shape parts for items such as caskets by forming joints using glue and fasteners.

• Maintain a safe working environment by keeping tools sharpened and in good working order.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Carpenter
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques
• Ability to read technical documents/drawings
• Attention to detail
• Good physical condition
