Surveyor – Doha, Qatar

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying and mapping land and structures for private and public projects. They will be required to accurately measure distances, angles, elevations and other characteristics to produce detailed maps or plans.

Job Duties:

• Collect data on land features through measuring distances and angles using theodolites, total stations or GPS receivers.
• Utilize a variety of specialized equipment to measure elevations, depths and distances.
• Collect precise measurements from aerial photographs or satellite imagery.
• Create detailed topographical maps using data collected from field surveys.
• Prepare documents such as maps, reports or survey notes for review by clients or government authorities.
• Analyze survey objectives and develop appropriate plans to complete work within budgeted time frames.
• Identify potential safety hazards during surveys and take steps to mitigate them.
• Ensure all documents related to the survey are properly filed and archived for future reference.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED is required; a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Surveyor is required

• Knowledge of modern surveying equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations & theodolites

• Proficient in AutoCAD software applications

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to follow directions accurately

Salary: 1700 QAR /Month
