Job Summary

We are looking for a professional Crane Operator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the crane to lift and move heavy materials around the worksite. As a Crane Operator, you must be able to understand and follow safety instructions and be capable of working independently. You must have experience in controlling the crane from an operator’s station with great precision and accuracy. The ideal candidate should be able to carry out the duties professionally while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

- Examine the crane before each use to ensure it is in good working condition
- Transport materials safely from one location to another
- Follow instructions from supervisors or other personnel regarding where materials need to be placed
- Position slings, chains, shackles, hooks, graspers or other lifting devices onto objects being moved
- Monitor loads during operation and ensure they remain secure throughout the process
- Move levers and pedals in order to control the machine’s vertical and horizontal movements
- Monitor machinery performance during operations and report malfunctions when necessary
- Follow safety regulations when operating the crane at all times

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Crane Operator preferred but not required
- Ability to understand technical manuals and schematics related to cranes
- Excellent communication skills with ability to take instructions accurately from supervisors or personnel onsite - High level of concentration in order to remain focused while working on complex tasks
