Description:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of truck driving experience and a valid UAE driving license. We are open to considering foreign applicants with the necessary permits. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from one place to another. You must possess excellent physical fitness and be able to drive long distances with a heavy load. You must also have knowledge of the local roads as well as sound defensive driving skills.
Responsibilities:
• Drive truck to designated destinations in a timely manner while following all safety regulations
• Load and unload cargo accurately and safely
• Inspect truck before each journey and ensure proper working order
• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure
• Plan routes using global positioning system (GPS) devices or other navigation equipment
• Maintain accurate logs of all trips taken according to company policy
Requirements:
• Valid UAE driver’s license for light-duty trucks
• At least 1 year of experience in truck driving
• Good physical fitness for long distance hauls
• Knowledge of local roads and defensive driving techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours
