Optometrist – Doha, Qatar

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Optometrist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200 QAR per month. We are open to hiring a foreign candidate for this position.

The Optometrist will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services including comprehensive eye examinations, visual tests, contact lens fitting and management of ocular disease. The ideal candidate should have excellent patient care skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive eye exams on patients of all ages
• Diagnose ocular diseases, conditions, and dysfunctions
• Prescribe corrective lenses such as eyeglasses or contact lenses
• Perform vision tests
• Provide counseling on visual problems, contact lens use, and vision care products
• Educate patients on proper vision health
• Maintain detailed records of patient visits and examinations

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry/Optical Science or equivalent professional qualification/experience • Prior experience as an Optometrist is preferred but not required. • Excellent patient care skills • Ability to communicate effectively with customers • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and equipment • Knowledge of current optometric practices and procedures
