Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team in Al-Kuwait. This position carries a salary of 1200 and is open to immigrants. As such, we expect candidates to bring 3 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for painting walls, trim, ceilings, and other surfaces both interior and exterior of buildings.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Painter will be required to ensure the quality of their work by properly preparing surfaces for painting; this includes removing old paint, filling cracks and holes, sanding surfaces smooth, applying primers as needed. They will also mix paints and other materials to obtain desired colors or textures; hang wall coverings such as wallpaper; calculate amounts of required materials; cut edges straight using masking tape; apply finishing touches such as trimming corners with a brush or trowel; clean up after completion of the job; maintain all tools in good working order.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in painting walls, trim, ceilings and other surfaces
• Ability to mix paints and other materials to desired colors or textures
• Knowledge of various tools used for painting (brushes, rollers etc.)
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings from which instructions are obtained
• Good physical condition with ability to stand for long periods of time
• Excellent attention to detail with an eye for color matching
• High school diploma preferred but not required
