Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team at Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash transactions, maintaining the store’s financial records, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position offers a salary of 1200 and we are open to considering an immigrant for the role.

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service. They should also be knowledgeable about basic math operations and have a good understanding of cash security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process payments including cash, credit cards, gift cards, and checks
• Provide change when necessary
• Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Greet customers warmly upon entering the store
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a professional manner
• Monitor suspicious activities and report any theft or fraud cases to management
• Ensure all company policies are adhered to during cash transactions

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Cashier in a retail setting is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in handling large volumes of money
• Proficient with basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division • Knowledgeable about security procedures related to handling cash • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers
