Position Summary
We are looking for a Caregiver to provide care and support to an elderly person in Abu Dhabi. This role requires a compassionate and patient individual who is able to assist with activities of daily living. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong organization skills, and be passionate about providing quality care for the elderly. This position pays 1100 AED per month. We are open to considering applicants who are immigrants. Previous experience is not necessary for this role.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Caregiver is to provide assistance to an elderly person with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding. Additional responsibilities include providing companionship and support, running errands such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions, administering medications as needed, light housekeeping duties such as laundry or cleaning, meal preparation and cooking, arranging doctor’s appointments and transportation to medical appointments, providing emotional support and guidance, managing finances or other personal affairs as needed, and ensuring the safety of the elderly person in their home environment.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position should be compassionate and caring with a strong commitment to providing quality care for the elderly. They should also possess excellent communication skills; be organized; have basic knowledge of medical terminology; possess basic computer skills; have good problem-solving abilities; be able to work independently; demonstrate patience; possess valid CPR certification; be physically fit enough to lift up to 25 kilograms (55 pounds); be able to pass a background check if necessary; and must possess any certifications required by local laws or regulations related to the provision of caregiving services. Previous experience is not required but would be beneficial for this role.
