Librarian vacancy in Abu-Dhabi UAE for unskilled worker


We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The perfect candidate is someone who has a passion for books and literature and can assist our library patrons in finding the information they need.

The Librarian will be responsible for organizing, cataloguing, archiving and maintaining our library collection; curating exhibitions; managing the library’s electronic resources; providing reference services to users; assisting with reading programs; and helping patrons with their research projects. They will also assist with library events, maintain the library shelves, update records, and perform other related tasks as required.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, an attention to detail, and a strong customer service orientation. They must be proficient in using computers, especially with databases. Knowledge of modern library systems and methods in English is required. Fluency in Arabic is desirable but not necessary.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of 1400 AED per month along with other benefits such as health insurance coverage. We are open to considering a foreigner for this position as long as they meet the qualifications stated above.
