Job Description:
The Light Driver will be responsible for driving company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring that passengers arrive on time at their destination. The Driver will also ensure safe loading and unloading of goods from the van or truck according to the company policies. Duties will include but are not limited to; maintaining cleanliness of vehicle, upholding safety regulations while driving, navigating unfamiliar routes when necessary, setting up route plans in advance, reporting any vehicle issues or accidents immediately, maintaining records of trips (date/time/destinations/mileage/gasoline), performing basic maintenance such as checking oil levels or tire pressure when required; and communicating with dispatch via radio or phone regarding pickups or deliveries.
