Job Title: Optometrist

Location: Al-Kuwait

Salary: 1600 KD/month

We are looking for an Optometrist to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The Optometrist will be providing comprehensive eye care services to patients, including vision examinations and diagnoses, prescribing corrective lenses or medical treatment. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable about the latest developments and technologies in optometry and have a passion for patient-centered healthcare.

The successful candidate should possess a Degree in Optometry with at least five years of experience in the field. They should also have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. An understanding of local laws and regulations related to optometry is also required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct vision tests to determine refractive error and ocular health status

• Provide necessary advice on eye care including advice on eyeglasses, contact lenses etc.

• Diagnose eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders

• Prescribe medications or refer patients to ophthalmologists for specialized treatments

• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques

• Maintain accurate patient medical records

• Keep updated with the latest developments in optometry technology

Qualifications:

• Degree in Optometry from an accredited university/college

• At least five years of experience as an optometrist

• Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to optometry

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
