We are looking for a highly motivated Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The ideal candidate must be willing to learn and to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. They should have strong analytical skills and the ability to multitask. This position requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

The successful candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision and be comfortable working with computers and software applications, such as Excel, Word, and Quickbooks. They should have an understanding of basic accounting principles including balance sheets, debits, credits, reconciliations, etc. A good working knowledge of the laws governing financial transactions is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent English language skills both written and verbal.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable/payable processes including invoicing customers; processing payments; preparing monthly financial statements; monitoring cash flow; reconciling bank statements; preparing tax returns; ensuring compliance with laws governing financial transactions; conducting audits; providing support in budgeting processes; developing strategies to improve processes; preparing reports for management review; assisting with payroll processing; providing customer service by responding to inquiries from internal/external customers in a timely manner; managing accounts receivable/payable records accurately & efficiently utilizing accounting software systems & other tools available within the company’s system.
