Dental Assistant job in Sharjah UAE


We are looking for an experienced and reliable Dental Assistant to work in our clinic located in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance to the dentist during treatments and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.

The duties of the Dental Assistant include but are not limited to: setting up the treatment area with necessary instruments, supplies, and materials; helping the dentist by handing him/her instruments during procedures; taking dental impressions; sterilizing and disinfecting instruments; taking X-rays; performing basic lab tasks such as mixing materials and pouring plaster models; assisting with oral surgery procedures; keeping records of treatment plans, patient records, charts, laboratory slips, x-rays etc.; providing postoperative instructions to patients as directed by the dentist; educating patients on proper brushing and flossing techniques; making preparations for dental prosthesis.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Dental Assistant or similar role. Knowledge of dental terminology is a must. He/She should possess excellent communication skills in order to interact effectively with both patients and staff members. The ability to remain calm under pressure is essential. He/She should also be willing to work flexible hours whenever necessary.
