Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Light Driver to join our team in Doha. Our ideal candidate should be able to operate light motor vehicles such as cars, vans or small trucks for transporting goods or people. The successful applicant will be offered a salary of 1700 per month. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required; foreign licenses will be considered
• Previous experience as a light driver is preferable but not mandatory
• Must have excellent knowledge of driving rules & regulations
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Must possess physical strength & stamina needed for long hours of sitting behind the wheel

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate light vehicles including cars, vans and small trucks for transporting goods or people
• Load & unload goods/passengers according to instructions given
• Ensure vehicle safety by performing regular maintenance checks on the vehicle before each trip is undertaken
• Observe traffic laws & regulations while driving & adhere to company policies
• Maintain records such as mileage logs & vehicle maintenance reports
