Optometrist – Zayed City - 1400

We are looking for a highly-skilled Optometrist to join our team in Zayed City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality eye care services, including comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and vision therapy. We are ready to consider a foreigner with minimal work experience.

The ideal candidate should have a degree from an accredited optometry school and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They should also be capable of providing patient education on eyecare and optical products, addressing patients’ questions and concerns. Knowledge of basic optical principles is essential in this role.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Providing comprehensive eye examinations to detect signs of ocular diseases
• Diagnosing common eye conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, etc.
• Prescribing corrective lenses (glasses or contact lenses) based on the results of the exam
• Evaluating the fit for contact lenses and providing instruction on proper contact lens insertion/removal techniques
• Recommending vision therapy for patients with certain visual disorders
• Educating patients regarding proper eyecare techniques and optical product selection
• Keeping accurate records of patient visits
• Maintaining current knowledge of optometric trends/best practices in the industry

The successful candidate will receive an attractive salary of 1400 per month along with other benefits as per company policy.
