The primary responsibilities of the Light Driver include: transporting materials, documents or personnel; ensuring timely pickup and delivery of goods; following traffic laws; keeping the vehicle clean; ensuring that vehicle maintenance is kept up-to-date, including oil changes, tire rotation, etc.; understanding maps and using GPS systems when necessary; completing paperwork related to deliveries; adhering to safety policies and regulations; maintaining records related to trips, such as vehicle maintenance reports, mileage logs, fuel consumption records, etc.; collecting payments for deliveries when required; loading and unloading vehicles when necessary..
