Job Title: Librarian
Location: Abu-Dhabi, UAE
Salary: 1600 AED

We are looking for a Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the library and providing guidance and support to library patrons.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills. They should also be knowledgeable about various topics including literature, art, history, and current events.

Responsibilities:
• Organize library resources in accordance with established procedures
• Answer patrons’ questions regarding library services and resources
• Maintain accurate records of circulation activities
• Assist with the acquisition of new resources including books, periodicals, and other materials
• Create displays to showcase new materials or promote special events and activities
• Develop programs such as book clubs or story times to engage patrons of all ages
• Plan activities that encourage patrons to explore topics of interest or develop new skills

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Library Sciences or related field preferred
• Previous experience working in a library setting
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
