Librarian (Abu-Dhabi, 1500 AED Per Month)

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Librarian to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field, plus at least 2 years of experience as a librarian. We are open to considering immigrants for the position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library and providing information services to patrons. They should be able to locate and maintain library resources, including books, periodicals, and audio-visual materials. Additionally, the librarian should have excellent customer service skills in order to provide assistance to patrons with their research needs. The librarian should also be knowledgeable about library technology and be able to use computers effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Locate, organize and maintain library resources
• Provide information services to patrons
• Assist patrons with their research needs
• Utilize computer technology effectively
• Prepare reports on library usage
• Maintain accurate circulation records
• Develop new programs or activities for library patrons

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field
• At least 2 years of experience as a librarian
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: 1500 AED per month
