We are looking for a Speech Therapist with minimal work experience who will help us continue to make a positive difference in the lives of our patients. Our ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about helping children and adults alike achieve improved communication skills.

The Speech Therapist will need to have excellent communication skills, as well as patience and understanding when it comes to working with people who have communication disorders. It is also important that they have a strong knowledge of language development, speech and language disorders, augmentative/alternative communication systems, research methods, assessment procedures, and treatment strategies.

The successful applicant can expect a salary of 1000 per month plus benefits such as medical insurance, paid vacation/sick leave and continuing education opportunities. As an immigrant you would also be eligible for various other benefits such as housing assistance and transport reimbursement.

The duties of the Speech Therapist will include: assessing speech/language abilities through standard tests; developing individualized treatment plans; providing therapy sessions; counseling patients; consulting with other professionals (such as doctors or teachers) regarding patient's progress; creating reports for families/caregivers on patient's progress; attending conferences/workshops related to speech therapy; and keeping up-to-date records on each patient’s progress.
