Requirements for the Candidate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the civil engineering field.
• Knowledgeable in civil engineering standards, practices, and methods.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD design software is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Job Duties
• Designing structures or systems that meet safety guidelines and industry regulations.
• Preparing plans, diagrams, drawings, models, calculations, and written reports for existing or proposed structures or systems based on customer specifications or requirements.
• Inspecting construction sites to make sure that all work adheres to safety regulations and applicable building codes.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, surveyors, inspectors, contractors, subcontractors on project details such as scheduling materials delivery timelines and safety protocols for construction sites..
• Performing calculations for soil stability or structural diagrams using mathematical formulas or computer software programs such as AutoCAD..
