Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Land Surveyor to join our team in Riyadh. As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys on land and other physical features of the earth's surface. This includes determining the shapes and elevations of land areas, using surveying instruments such as total stations and GPS devices. You will also analyze data collected from surveys to prepare reports and maps for use in construction projects, boundary demarcations, land development, or other applications.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you should have a degree in Civil Engineering or Geo-Informatics from an accredited college or university. Additionally, we prefer candidates with experience in surveying and mapping techniques including the use of Global Positioning Systems (GPS) technology. Candidates who can demonstrate knowledge of local regulations and building codes will be given preference.

Responsibilities:
Your primary duties as a Land Surveyor include establishing control points on properties for construction projects; ensuring accuracy and precision when measuring distances between points; identifying survey locations using traditional surveying methods; analyzing survey data to produce maps that show the shape and elevation of land features; providing technical advice on land surveys to clients; using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software programs to analyze survey data; preparing diagrams illustrating contours on land surfaces; maintaining survey equipment and documents; keeping records of all surveys conducted; and ensuring compliance with local regulations regarding safety standards while conducting field work.

Skills:
Successful candidates should possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret survey data accurately, excellent verbal communication skills to explain technical information in simple terms, meticulous attention to detail when making calculations or measurements, as well as good physical condition for outdoor fieldwork in all weather conditions. Knowledge of GIS software packages is also beneficial.
