Job Summary
Optometrist needed for a medical clinic in Doha, Qatar. We are looking for an experienced Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care services. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service to patients. The salary offered is 1000 Qatari Riyal per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Optometrist will be responsible for the following:
• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages
• Diagnosing vision problems using diagnostic tests such as refraction, tonometry, retinoscopy etc.
• Prescribing corrective lenses or advising on lifestyle changes to improve vision health
• Educating patients on methods for optimizing their vision health
• Ensuring equipment is regularly maintained in good working order

Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for an experienced Optometrist with the following qualifications:
• Degree in optometry or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• Registered with the Qatar Council of Health Care Practitioners (QCHP) or willing to obtain registration • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Optometrist preferably in a clinical setting • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages • Good problem solving skills and ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
