They need to have a good knowledge of food hygiene regulations and an understanding of nutrition. The Chef must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining excellent standards. They should also be able to lead and motivate staff, manage stock levels, keep costs low, and ensure that deadlines are met.
