VACANCY: LIBRARIAN
Salary: 1200 KWD
Location: Al-Kuwait

Demands for the Candidate:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
• Minimal work experience needed; experience in a library setting preferred
• Must possess strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of library systems and services.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Organize library materials according to established procedures
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions
• Assist patrons in locating materials or other information
• Provide information to patrons about the library and its services
• Assist with cataloging new acquisitions
• Monitor usage of library resources
• Update database records when necessary

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred. • Knowledge of library systems and services. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Word and Excel.
