Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators for the purpose of moving soil, sand, gravel and other materials for construction projects. This role offers a salary of 1300 QAR. We are willing to consider applicants from abroad with no experience in this role.

The ideal candidate will be safety-oriented and take pride in their work. They should have excellent coordination skills, be able to read plans and interpret instructions accurately. The candidate should also be able to follow instructions from supervisors, as well as work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating excavators safely and efficiently to move soil, sand, gravel and other materials for construction projects. Duties include: carefully following instructions given by supervisors or foremen; adhering to safety regulations; ensuring the excavator is maintained; maintaining records of completed works; inspecting the area before excavation begins; ensuring that all materials are moved according to plan; inspecting the excavator daily to ensure it is in good working condition; cleaning up debris after work is complete; performing minor repairs on equipment when necessary; and reporting any problems or concerns to supervisors immediately.

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications: experience operating an excavator (preferred but not required); knowledge of excavation techniques; strong communication skills (verbal and written); excellent coordination skills; ability to read plans and interpret instructions accurately; ability to follow instructions from supervisors as well as work independently with minimal supervision; strong attention to detail; a valid driver's license (preferred but not required).
