Job Description:
-Maintain and update the financial records in the accounting system.
-Prepare financial statements on a monthly basis.
-Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable.
-Manage payrolls and taxes on a timely basis.
-Analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies in spending or income.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred but not required.
-At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
-Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage 50; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
-Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, standards, regulations, policies and procedures.
-Excellent problem solving and communication skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others when needed.
