Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and organized Accountant to join our team in Zayed City. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of accounting principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and providing support with budgeting.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining accurate books on accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and other related accounting activities.
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing monthly financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other required documents for review by management.
• Analysing financial data to identify trends or discrepancies in the performance of the business and making recommendations for improvement.
• Assisting with budget preparation by monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost reduction.
• Supporting the preparation of tax returns by gathering information from various sources such as invoices, receipts etc.
• Performing ad hoc analysis or other projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university/college; CPA certification preferred but not required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role; experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) including fluency in English Language is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic language is an advantage.
• Strong ability to analyse data accurately and present findings in a timely manner; attention to detail is essential for this role.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; must be highly organized and able to multitask effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards of work product.
