Job Responsibilities
• Provide advice to customers on their medication needs
• Verify accuracy of prescription information before dispensing medications
• Conduct drug inventories by counting stock and recording data on computer systems
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations by adhering to established procedures
• Maintain patient records by documenting medication prescribed, dosage instructions, allergies etc.
• Prepare medications by counting tablets or measuring liquids accurately
• Monitor drug therapies by analyzing patient information including medical history, lab results etc.
