Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of the Web Developer is to design, develop, and maintain websites according to clients’ needs. This includes creating new features that enhance user experience on the website and ensuring that all aspects of the website are functioning properly. Candidates should also be familiar with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal or Joomla as well as SEO best practices to ensure that websites are optimized for search engines. Furthermore, the Web Developer will be responsible for troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise while maintaining web applications. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with other developers, designers and project managers in order to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Required Skills
The candidate should have excellent technical skills including knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/jQuery; experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL; familiarity with version control systems like Git; experience working with web servers such as Apache or Nginx; ability to write efficient queries using SQL; knowledge of content management systems (CMS) like WordPress; familiarity with responsive design principles; knowledge of SEO best practices; excellent problem-solving skills; good written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently or collaboratively with a team.
