Job Title: Phlebotomist

Salary: 1000 AED

We are currently seeking an experienced Phlebotomist for a role at a leading medical facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful applicant will have a strong background in performing venipunctures and capillary punctures, as well as performing other duties as assigned by the medical staff. This position offers a competitive salary of 1000 AED. We are open to considering immigrants for this position.

The successful applicant should possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as an understanding of safety protocols when performing invasive procedures. They should also be familiar with medical terminology and the use of laboratory equipment and instruments. The ideal candidate will have a valid Phlebotomy certification or equivalent qualification, along with previous experience in a clinical setting.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

- Collecting blood specimens from patients using appropriate techniques such as venipuncture or capillary puncture
- Labeling tubes accurately according to instructions and standards
- Preparing specimens for processing and shipment according to set protocols
- Following established safety protocols when handling needles and other sharp objects
- Assisting with patient preparation prior to collection procedures
- Maintaining accurate records of patient data and specimen collection

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent time management skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and possess the necessary attention to detail when carrying out their duties. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable, organized, and has the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with other members of the team.
