Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead kitchen staff in creating innovative dishes that meet high standards of quality and presentation
• Develop menus for special events while maintaining budget constraints
• Oversee daily operations of the kitchen including food production, storage, sanitation, and safety standards
• Prepare reports regarding food costs, labor costs, inventory levels, or other operational reports as requested
• Ensure that all food is prepared according to health regulations
• Provide guidance and support to kitchen staff in their development as cooks or chefs

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
• Knowledge of health regulations related to food preparation

Desired Skills:
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members
• High level of creativity when it comes to developing menus • Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Excel or Word • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
