At Al-Kuwait, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our culinary team as a Sous Chef. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing team of experienced chefs. We are offering an attractive salary of 1000 per month and are willing to consider immigrant candidates with no experience in the field.

As a Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best chefs in town, get involved in interesting projects, and help shape the overall direction for our culinary offerings.

As a Sous Chef at Al-Kuwait, you will be responsible for overseeing our kitchen operations. This includes supervising other chefs, ensuring all meals are prepared according to our high standards of quality and safety, controlling costs by managing food inventory and waste, liaising with suppliers for ingredient orders and quality control, as well as developing new recipes that meet customer needs. You will also be expected to develop staff training programs and mentor junior staff members while ensuring all food safety regulations are met at all times.

In order to be successful in this role you should have excellent organizational skills, good attention to detail and a passion for cooking. You should also have strong leadership skills with experience leading teams in a professional kitchen setting. Additionally, strong knowledge of food safety regulations is preferred but not required. Any prior management or supervisory experience would be beneficial but is not necessary.
