Cashier job vacancy in Sharjah UAE for unskilled worker


Job Title: Cashier – Sharjah

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Salary: 1800 AED/Month

We are looking for an experienced Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. We are open to considering a foreign candidate for this position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing customers with fast and friendly service at the cash register, and accurately processing cash and credit card transactions. They must have extensive knowledge of currency and the ability to carry out basic math calculations quickly and accurately.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience as a cashier in a retail or hospitality setting. They should also be familiar with customer service principles and practices, have excellent customer service skills, and strong communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately (cash, credit cards, etc.)

- Provide customers with fast, friendly service

- Count money back to customers in exact change when necessary

- Balance cash drawer daily at the end of shift

- Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers as necessary

- Monitor customer behavior and alert security or manager if needed

- Remain up-to-date on store policies regarding payments & exchanges

Qualifications:

- At least 1 year of prior experience as a cashier in a retail or hospitality setting

- Extensive knowledge of currency

- Ability to carry out basic math calculations quickly & accurately

- Excellent customer service skills

- Strong communication abilities
