Technologist engineer vacancy in sydney Australia

Main responsibility:

Established global manufacture has multiple positions available for experienced Elevating Work Platform (EWP’s) technicians to join our head office on the Gold Coast in Queensland. These positions will be based in Sydney & Melbourne to support our customers and business partners throughout Australia & New Zealand. Responsibilities include field and workshop maintenance on EWP’s & Material Handling products, inventory management, routine travel, and client entertainment. Successful applicants will demonstrate:

• Australian Trade certified qualifications in either a mechanical or auto-electrical field
• Knowledge of maintenance, inspection & repair procedures with construction or agricultural equipment
• 2 years post trade experience on Australian EWP equipment (looked upon favorably)
• A high attention to detail, competent computer and communication skills
• Reliability, innovation, and an ambition for career progression
• Current permanent work rights with no restriction in Australia
• Current Australian drivers license

Service vehicle, phone, internet, computer and comprehensive product training will be provided

Qualifications:

1. College degree in engineer or equivalent.
2. At least 3 yrs experience as a service engineer in the mechanical or equivalent industry.
3. Knowledge of equipment rental companies in Australia will be a definite advantage.
4. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
5. Good understanding of customers dynamic.
6. The ability to deal with multiple requests without being overwhelmed.
7. Able to work under pressure.
8. Fluent written and spoken English.
