Accountant – Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts.

The Accountant should have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong organizational abilities. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with an understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations. We will consider an immigrant for this position.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements and reports, including profit/loss statements
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable and other financial transactions
• Reconcile all transactions by the end of the day
• Prepare invoices and ensure timely payments from customers
• Manage petty cash transactions
• Assist in budget preparation activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations
• Maintain accurate financial records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. QuickBooks)

Salary: 1800 per month
