We are currently looking to fill a Land Surveyor position in Doha, Qatar, offering a salary of 1200. We are open to considering foreigners for this role.

The primary duties of the Land Surveyor include mapping and planning out plots of land for various purposes. They must be able to accurately measure distances, elevations, angles and other data regarding land features. Additionally, they must be able to collect accurate data pertaining to the shapes, contours and elevations of the land surface. This may include conducting field surveys as well as using aerial photographs and satellite imagery. The Land Surveyor must be able to interpret survey data and create detailed maps with this information while adhering to all local regulations pertaining to surveying activities. With these maps they will identify property boundaries as well as prepare reports on their findings.

To qualify for this role, the candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field. Experience within the field is highly preferred however recent graduates will also be considered if they can demonstrate their proficiency in core areas such as mathematics, drafting and computer-aided design (CAD). The successful candidate should also demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English as well as strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail. A valid driver's license is also required for this role as some travel will be required for field surveying activities.
