Job Title: Accountant
Location: Al-Kuwait
Salary: 1200

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al-Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, analyzing data, and recommending improvements to financial processes. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing entries and reports.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and depreciation schedules.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies and recommend corrective action when necessary.
• Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Assist in budgeting process by preparing forecasts and tracking expenses against budgeted amounts.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations and laws.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting required; experience working in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) is required; experience using QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail; ability to identify trends or discrepancies within data sets quickly and accurately is essential.
